Chazmoné is a musician, storyteller, and creator whose relationship with music began long before she ever stepped onto a stage professionally.
A singer, rapper, songwriter, percussionist, and creative event curator, Chazmoné has been immersed in music since childhood. Singing and drumming from an early age, rhythm and melody became the foundation of an artistic identity that would continue to evolve throughout her life.
Her passion led her to Texas Southern University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Music, followed by a Master’s in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. Her education strengthened not only her musicianship, but also her understanding of the vision, leadership, and production required to bring creative ideas to life.
As an artist, Chazmoné moves naturally between vocals, rap, songwriting, and percussion, drawing from each discipline to shape her own sound and perspective. Her creativity also extends beyond performance into event curation, where she uses music and atmosphere to turn ideas into experiences.
In 2024, Chazmoné released her album 28 Candles, capturing a chapter of her life through music. The project stands as both a personal timestamp and a reflection of an artist continuing to discover new layers of her voice, sound, and story.
At her core, Chazmoné is a musician first. Music has remained the constant throughout every chapter of her journey, giving her the freedom to grow, experiment, and allow her artistry to evolve alongside her life.
She isn’t interested in fitting into one lane. She’s creating her own.
